There is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to food systems research being conducted at the Australian National University, which is looking at the role of CSA in facilitating transitions to more sustainable, healthy, and just food systems.

People who have been members of food CSAs in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand can participate in a survey (prior to 20 July 2020) or via a phone interview:

“My name is Bronwyn Wilkes, I am a student at the Australian National University and I am conducting research into how we can live in ways that are more sensitive to and respectful of the ecosystems and people we depend on. As part of this, I am interested in understanding people’s experiences of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

I would like to invite you be part of this research by sharing your experiences of CSA and what has changed for you as a result of participating in CSA. If you would like to participate in this research, there are two ways you can do so:

  • an online survey at the following link:  https://anu.au1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_egt2d295JCTnesJ, which will be open until 20 July 2020 and is anticipated to take about 20 minutes;
  • a conversational interview with me, by video call (e.g. Zoom) at a time convenient to you in the next few months.

If you would like more information about the project in order to consider participating, please e-mail me at bronwyn.wilkes@anu.edu.au. There is also some further information on the front page of the survey link: here.

Thank you very much for considering participating in this research.
Best wishes

Bronwyn”
